As heavy-duty tension bolts, these fasteners are engineered to deliver maximum clamping force and shear resistance in structural connections subjected to extreme loads, vibration, and dynamic forces. The TC mechanism eliminates human error in preload application and dramatically speeds up installation compared to traditional bolting methods. Available in diameters ranging from 1/2"to 1-1/4"in inch sizes or M12 to M30 in metric equivalents, these bolts can achieve tensile strengths up to 150 ksi (1034 MPa) depending on the stainless steel grade and heat treatment. Our galvanized TC bolts are manufactured from high-strength carbon steel with a protective zinc coating applied through hot-dip galvanizing or mechanical galvanizing processes. The zinc coating provides robust corrosion protection at a more economical price point compared to stainless steel alternatives, making these bolts suitable for outdoor construction, infrastructure projects, utility structures, and general industrial applications. The galvanized coating thickness typically ranges from 40 to 85 microns, ensuring long-term performance in moderate to aggressive environments. All galvanized TC bolts are supplied as complete assemblies with matched heavy hex nuts and hardened washers, ensuring optimal performance and compatibility. Proper lubrication is recommended during installation to achieve consistent preload values, as the zinc coating can affect friction characteristics.
