Our galvanized TC bolts are manufactured from high-strength carbon steel with a protective zinc coating applied through hot-dip galvanizing or mechanical galvanizing processes. The zinc coating provides robust corrosion protection at a more economical price point compared to stainless steel alternatives, making these bolts suitable for outdoor construction, infrastructure projects, utility structures, and general industrial applications. The galvanized coating thickness typically ranges from 40 to 85 microns, ensuring long-term performance in moderate to aggressive environments. Proper lubrication is recommended during installation to achieve consistent preload values, as the zinc coating can affect friction characteristics.
