Product Name:Heavy hex structural bolts

Our Heavy-Duty Hex Head Bolts are precision-engineered high-strength structural fasteners designed for demanding applications that require exceptional load-bearing capacity, durability, and reliable performance under extreme conditions. These bolts feature a heavy hex head geometry with a larger bearing surface and thicker head height compared to standard hex bolts, providing superior resistance to stripping and deformation under high torque. The heavy-duty construction makes them ideal for critical connections in steel structures, bridge construction, high-rise buildings, heavy machinery, mining equipment, offshore platforms, and industrial facilities where fastener failure is not an option. Available in both inch and metric sizes, these bolts are manufactured from high-quality alloy steel through precise forging and heat treatment processes to achieve optimal mechanical properties.

The A325M HEX BOLT is a metric high-strength structural bolt conforming to ASTM A325M (now covered under ASTM F3125 Grade A325M), specifically designed for use in metric steel construction projects. These bolts provide a minimum tensile strength of 830 MPa for diameters M12 through M36, making them suitable for preloaded structural connections in buildings, bridges, and industrial structures. The A325M hex bolt is manufactured from medium-carbon steel, quenched and tempered to achieve the required hardness and strength. Available in Type 1 (plain alloy steel) and Type 3 (weathering steel for atmospheric corrosion resistance), these bolts are typically supplied with matching heavy hex nuts and hardened washers. The A325M bolt is the metric equivalent of the inch-series A325 bolt and is widely used in international projects adopting metric standards.

The A490M HEX BOLT represents the highest strength grade in metric structural bolting, conforming to ASTM A490M (now incorporated into ASTM F3125 Grade A490M). These ultra-high-strength bolts offer a minimum tensile strength of 1040 MPa for diameters M12 through M36, significantly exceeding the strength of A325M bolts. The A490M hex bolt is manufactured from alloy steel with specialized heat treatment, providing exceptional strength for critical applications such as high-rise buildings, long-span bridges, heavy industrial plants, wind towers, and seismic-resistant structures. Due to its high hardness, the A490M bolt is not recommended for hot-dip galvanizing due to hydrogen embrittlement risks. Both A325M and A490M heavy-duty hex head bolts are available with various surface finishes including plain, zinc-plated, and mechanically galvanized, with complete traceability and test documentation supplied for quality assurance.
